Keats Camps is blessed to have people who come together to support our ministry.  We could not continue to operate without the prayers and the financial donations of many. 

This past year, 2007, has been challenging in many ways.  We have had a number of significant financial setbacks, including boat and vehicle problems, aging buildings and equipment needing significant repair and upkeep, as well as an unanticipated decline in enrolment at the senior camper level. 

During a recent Board of Directors meeting however, we were giving thanks to the Lord for many blessings we’ve seen this past year:  The presence of God and His blessings to us, our supporters who include current and previous staff, cottagers, committed donors, a number of church congregations, and our governing body – the Canadian Baptists of Western Canada.  We had a summer in which we had many campers come to Keats to experience the natural, stunning, beauty of the island, play, and experience new activities, and to develop relationships with new and old friends.  However, most of all, many of our guests came to learn about, and come to love Jesus.

     Keats Camps will continue this work, with your help, and by the grace of God.  We are committed to bringing a quality camping experience to those who come to the island. We have much work to be done in the way of upgrading our facility and our equipment.  There are numerous costs associated with setting up the summer program, including staffing, training, safety equipment, waterfront setup, and the list goes on.
